Ive had to replace itoncewhen the right rear channel went out. Tonight, I cranked it up and there is no LFE channel(s) at all. No subs! Everything else works fineI suppose.

I have a problem.
I have just bought a pioneer 747 dvd, dvd-a, sacd player and I have hooked it up to my trusty ax1 using the 6 channel inputs. Setting the subwoofer is becomming problematic. If I set the subwoofer volume correctly on my dvd player then it is far, far, far too loud when I switch to DD or DTS decoding using the ax1. RX-V1 receiver. Monster cables. The sound on the one side is fine. The wheeze and quiet music is coming from the other side. What could be problem here? I have tried to change the plugs but it do not help. It worked before but I do not know what happened.

Haven't been around in a while, but with the announcement of the RX-V9, I thought I'd come hang out for a while. My RX-V1 is still chugging along as the centerpiece of my HT/music world. I still have the occasional issue with channel volume loss, but a few quick stabs into the pre-out/main-in jacks with an RCA plug cures the problem. Just joined this great forum and was wondering if anyone is using Yamaha's NS-100/300 series speakers or the NS-HX series speakers.

I have various Yamaha equipment and for HT I am using the DSP-AZ1 with two Yamaha YST-SW 800 in front and one YST-SW320 in the rear. My speakers are as follows:
NS-300 for main, NS-C300 for center, NS-90 for front effects, NS-100 for rear and NS-C100 for rear center. The manufactuers are:

1. Echostar (3000 Viaccess Model)
2. Pace (2500 Sky Digital Receiver)

I saw a thread regarding extended I/R codes but didn't really get the grasp of it, so an explanation (if possible) would be helpful also!

I've had several Yamaha receivers over the years and also install systems here in Northern Ireland.

I have read some of the problem regarding the front center speaker and wish to learn if any one of you have been able to fix it temporarily or permenantly.

I bought the DSP-AX1 Amplifire along with many other units some months ago in Tehran, and have problems with the front centre spekers output.
