			<description><![CDATA[ As many of you know or may not know the only real difference between the 604, and the 674 reciever is the hdmi switching capabilities and the on screen set-up menu. I have been unable to find any firmware's for the 604 correcting any of these problems. So i ask of a favor if someone has the firmware please let me know where to get it.  Im also interested if flashing the firmware from the 674 to the 604 will this work and has anyone tried this. Any advice would be appreciated. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Has anyone used the RS232 command capabiliites of the TX-DS989?<br><br>I received a whitepaper from Onkyo support describing the predefined RS232 commands that (among other things) lets one set the volume to discrete numbered levels and to setup the IO to record from one connected component to another without touching the physical box (the remote doesn't have these functions). <br><br>I did some research and apparently Xantech has a box (IRS232) that can be programmed to receive IR codes... ]]></description>
