Suppose I connect the 5.1ch outputs from a DVD-A/SACD player to the the 307s 5.1ch in. I set DVD-Audio to "Yes" on some input (let's call it "HIRES"). As I understand it, that simply allows me to choose "DVD-Audio" as a type (like "Surround") for that input.

Now, suppose I don't want the 307 to do any processing. When the 307 gets put in sleep mode, the right front speaker hisses and pops. Nothing comes out of the other 4 speakers or sub. Also, there is no hissing when the unit is powered up. Any thoughts on this?
